PUP College of Communication Holds a Voice Acting Workshop

The College of the Communication of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) organized a voice acting seminar last February 7.

Entitled “VoiceMaster Series,” the said seminar was made possible by the Student Voice Artists’ Society (SVAS) and Voice of the Youth Network (VOTY). Its theme was “DUBBING 101: The Art of Voice Acting.”

Johnoel Capucion, SVAS president, said during the seminar that its objective was to promote dubbing as an art form most especially to the youth.

The speakers who attended the event were Lala Banderas, Rico Panero, Lucy Quinto, Alex Agcaoili and Pocholo Gonzales.

“The VoiceMaster Series” will go around the country and visit different colleges and universities to educate the Filipino youth about voice acting.
