The Voice of the Youth Network opens a new, exciting avenue for communication students and individuals passionate with the youth and nation-building alike with its newest morning offering on air, Youth Power Radio!
Hosted by Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, Andrew San Fernando, and Ada Vina Cuaresma, Youth Power Radio provides an opportunity for aspiring boradcasters, journalists, and communicators in general to practice their craft while at the same time express their sentiments on issues that matter to them and their fellow youth.
Future broadcasters will be able to exhibit their audio production and voice acting chops with a radio drama they will produce themselves. These situational dramas will tackle various issues that affects how the youth live in this multifaceted and continuously globalizing world. Intellectual and critical discussions will take place afterwards, in order to dissect and spur positive conversation among the youth.
The journalists of tomorrow also have an opportunity to shine, as Youth Power Radio allows them to report events and announcements from their respective campuses. They will also have a hand at reporting issues regarding national concerns that affect every Filipino.
