A video contest entitled “What does ASEAN mean to youth?” is open for submission.
Interested participants are required to submit a storyboard to be transformed into a two-minute video, demonstrating the theme, “What does the ASEAN Community Mean to Youth?”
Storyboards must be in English and must not depict violence, sexism, racism, and any other rights curtailment act.
The contest is open only to citizens of ASEAN Member States (AMS): Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Candidates must be aged 18 to 30 years old at the time of final submission on May 15, 2015.
Prizes for the top videos are:
1st Place: $1,000
2nd Place: $750
3rd Place: $500
The contest is supported by the U.S. Government through the U.S. Mission to ASEAN and the ASEAN Foundation.
