Are an aspiring radio broadcaster, reporter, journalist, or writer? Are you a student of any communication-related course or an active member of your school’s publication? Do you want to make a difference and create positive social change in your community?

We need you.

Voice of the Youth Network, Youth Media Network Philippines, and DZIQ 990AM Radyo Inquirer are now working together to hone a new breed of broadcasters. With our collaborative effort, we are introducing the Young Inquirer Team: Kabataang Nagtatanong, Kabataang Nag-uusisa.

The Young Inquirer Team will serve as the official VOLUNTEER journo pool of the different media platforms owned by the Inquirer Group.

As a Young Inquirer, you will receive extensive training in broadcasting and journalism. You will also get a chance to report news from your own community through the social media, using gadgets like smartphones and tablets.

You will also:

  • Get a chance to participate and attent events, expos, trainings, and seminars
  • Have an opportunity to experience real radio broadcasting
  • Hone and develop skills in writing, broadcasting, and news reporting
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Take part in BroadCon 2015, the biggest convention of young broadcasting enthusiasts
  • Become a member of the Voice of the Youth Network
  • Become a contributor for VOTYOnline.com, the official online arm of the Voice of the Youth Network

Selected applicants will be notified via email. Names will also be posted on our Young Inquirer’s official Facebook page. If chosen, you should be available on July 24, 2015 (Friday) for the Reporter’s Workshop to be facilitated by DZIQ 990 AM Radyo Inquirer.
