The Hult Prize @ De La Salle University Grand Finals is drawing near! The winning team of this quarterfinal round of the annual USD 1,000,000 Hult Prize will finally be determined on December 11, 2015.
The Hult Prize is coming to De La Salle University (DLSU) and it is led by campus director Darrel Francis Luistro, a graduating Financial Management student. DLSU is one among the only three Philippine Universities and the 150 universities around the world that the Hult Prize Foundation has granted the opportunity to organize an on-campus Hult Prize event this year and it is a first for the university. The Hult Prize is a start-up accelerator for social entrepreneurship that brings together the world’s brightest college and university students to solve the world’s most pressing issues. Winners receive USD1 Million in seed capital, as well as mentorship and advice from the international business community.
The Hult Prize at De La Salle University Grand Finals will be held at the Natividad Fajardo-Rosario Gonzalez Auditorium of the Brother Andrew Gonzalez Building at De La Salle University-Manila. The Top 12 teams would be competing and pitching their respective start-up enterprise ideas about the 2016 Challenge: Crowded Urban Spaces. The winner for this year’s event in DLSU would automatically progress to the regionals in one of these locations: Boston, Dubai, London, San Francisco, and Shanghai.
