Manila, Philippines – An open forum for the youth for responsible voting.
Representatives and volunteers from the Voice of the Youth (VOTY) attended The Filipino Youth Agenda on SDGs and the 2016 Elections: A Congressional Forum. The event was parted into parts: Breakout Session, and the Plenary Session. The Breakout Session discussed the Sustainable Development Goals created by the United Nations Development program. And from that SDGs, Education, Health, and Unemployment were the major topics discussed.
During the discussion the delegates were subdivided into three group in which each group will discuss only one topic, wherein they will choose among the three major topics. During the discussion, each group chunked and brainstormed about their chosen topic and formulated questions that will be asked to the party list representatives and senatorial candidates who attended the event.
