The Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) and Commission on Higher Education(CHED) launched a volunteerism story writing contest with the theme of “Volunteerism for Sustainable Development.”
The contest is open to undergraduate college students who have completed or are completing their National Service Training Program (NSTP).
Its theme promotes volunteerism as a strategy in the development of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Each participant should choose one SDG and write an article about an individual and/or organization whose volunteer work is aligned with the achievement of the chosen SDG.
